Cook till the mixture is thickened. Stir within the cream cheese and proceed to cook dinner till it is completely melted in. Remove pan from warmth; stir within the Parmesan cheese and pepper. Continue to stir until Parmesan cheese is melted in and the sauce is well-blended. Alfredo sauce is a rich and creamy white sauce made with garlic, butter, heavy cream, and parmesan. This savory cheesy sauce infuses garlic into the butter and can be used with all kinds of pasta and even on top of vegetables.
Refrigerate – Any hermetic container will work properly to store the Alfredo sauce in. But I prefer to store mine in a Mason jar. It makes it easy to pour out slightly at a time. It will maintain within the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
