What are the steps to install Synfig on Mac OS X
Synfig is an excellent free and open-source graphic program. Robert Quattlebaum contributed many other people's contributions to create Synfig. The latest version Synfig SE (2.3), is free to download.
Synfig can be used to design and animated many types of animations. It is compatible with both Mac and PC platforms. It has an intuitive interface that makes it easy for even non-programmers to start the program. It also supports Flash files and Photoshop documents. It can export animated bitmaps as JPEG (PNG), or PSD format.
There are a few important options in terms of the way you want to use your Synfig animation. You can create an animation using the "Free Transform", which allows you to crop and rotate your image while maintaining its original shape. Or you can use the "layer types" to specify which layer of the image gets animated. There are many other options, but those are the main benefits of Synfig animation. You can create a single Layer and then add as Many Layers as you need to complete the animation.
To add layers to the animation in multiple layers, simply go into the layers panel and click on "New Layers". If you have an existing Synfig animation already, simply go to the layers panel and select from the items. Layer types are helpful to place your Synfig layers in a way that they will be easiest to edit.
Synfig canvas is also available to create your animation. You can simply click on the canvas to open it or you can use the Synfig Download Manager to go to the page where you can select your animation and place it on the canvas as a PDF. The Adobe Illustrator tools can be used to add text to your Synfig animated.
If you need to test your Synfig animations or do some reshooting, you will first need to install synfig. Go to the Synfig downloads site and download the software. It's very easy to download and will allow your own Synfig instance to be run even if you have no programming experience.
