What are the steps to install Synfig on Mac OS X
Synfig, a very useful and free open-source graphic program, is Synfig. Robert Quattlebaum built it with contributions by many others. The latest version Synfig SE 2.3 is available for free.
Synfig is used for designing and animating many kinds of animations and it is suitable both for the Mac and PC platforms. It has an easy-to-use interface that makes programming Synfig simple even for nonprogrammers. It also supports the common file formats for the animation formats, Flash files and Photoshop documents. It can save animated bitmap images as JPEG and PNG files.
There are a few options that you have when it comes time to use Synfig animations. You have two options: you can use the "Free Transform" tool to create an animation that allows you crop, rotate, skew and resize your image without changing its original shape. Or you can use the "layer types" to specify which layer of the image gets animated. There are many other options, but those are the main benefits of Synfig animation. You have the option to create a single layer and then add as many layers as required for the animation.
To add multiple layers into the animation, go to layers panel and click the new layers option. Or if you already have an existing Synfig animation, just go to the layers panel and choose from the items there. You can use layer types to organize your Synfig layers so that they are easy to edit.
You can also use the Synfig canvas to create your animation. You can click on the canvas and open it. Alternatively you can use Synfig Download Manager which will take you to the page that allows you to select your animation and place it as a PDF. To add text to your Synfig animation, you can use the Adobe Illustrator tools.
In case you need to test out your Synfig animation and do some re-shooting or reshooting of your work, you need to install synfig on your computer first. Simply go to the Synfig downloads page and download the software. It is quite easy to install and it will allow you to run your own Synfig instance even if you don't have any development experience.
