LESSONS WE HAVE LEARNED ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING THE QURAN FROM THE HOLY PROPHET PBUH
Learning Quran is probably where you start being a Muslim. It is the part where you listen or read about what Allah SWT has ordered you to do. It is, after all, his direct word.

Sayidatina Aishah (r.a.) reported:
الذي يقرأ القرآن وهو ماهر به مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأ القرآن ويتتعتع فيه وهو عليه شاق له أجران
"The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur'an will be with the honorable and obedient scribes (angels), and he who recites the Qur'an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have two rewards." (Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim)

The Prophet PBUH also said, "The best gift from a Father to his child is education and upbringing."

• Education is an act of Jihad
Jihad is not just done by physical warfare. Jihad is a fight in the way of Allah SWT for the protection of Islam. This fight is not just with swords, or in today's world, by guns. The Holy Prophet PBUH also stressed the fact that if you do not memorize the Quran, you will be led astray very soon. Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Read the Qur'an regularly. By the One in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, it escapes from memory faster than a camel does from its tying ropes." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
