A Magic Item Generator for Warhammer Online
The Random Loot Generator was first introduced in the Shame Dungeon rework. Published 73, 2021. It has been used in many World of Warcraft addons such as Jar Fix and Softpedia. In July, 2021, worldwide, all random loot was generated this way. It is also used in the Wrath of the Lich King, which implemented it in the Tuskarr Village, allowing players to get rare items dropped by enemies that drop certain items. It is used today in a number of World of Warcraft addons including the upgraded Jar Fix.
There are two options for how to use the random-loot generator. The code below can be copied and pasted into the game's inner workings for softpedia style. The code is in the addon that allows random loot to be dropped on mobs within raid (i.e. Easycore raid).
/lpquicks will produce a list of all quests available in your questing area. Simply enter the quest name into box "qs". The generator will display many options. You can change the value for the variable "lootbags", to get more loot.
You can also use the code provided below. Simply type the exact path to where you want the script to run. You will need to place the code in your character's inner workings. Put the variable named "item_properties" in front of the code to increase hit or mana regen, respectively.
Change the code in order to give the player extra loot or mana regen. In this example, we made the item property randomness random. Change the values for the maximum hit and maximum mana for the monsters so that they can drop more loot.
The final step is to use the generator inside the add-on. You can change the parameters of random loot by clicking on the generator. Click on it and place the parameters under the "monster-loot" section. There you can specify how many times a monster should drop items before the cycle stops. That's it!
If you want to get more out of the generator then increase the max durability. We did this by increasing the max durability from 500 up to 1000 for boss loot. We wanted to give players more items so they could fight harder bosses. You could also change the properties of the item, such as "unique," which will increase the challenge. This will make it difficult to find the item and increase its gold value.
You can increase the rate at which rings, amulets or boots drop by increasing your hit point and mana regeneren. You should use items with multiple strike strengths to maximize the benefit for your characters. For example, you could make a shield that has hit points and fortify defenses. Combining all of these elements with the right magic item will allow you to dramatically increase the speed and efficiency at which you level up your characters.
