Dr Deepika Lunawat, Medical Director of Mahi Clinic, is a trusted clinical and aesthetic dermatologist in Chennai with great expertise in her field. She is a graduate from the prestigious Sri Ramachandra University. As an undergraduate, she did her clinical rotations in Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard and Tufts Medical CentreBoston and became ECFMG certified. She pursued her postgraduation in Dermatology at the same institution. Dr Deepika is a Gold Medalist in DVL( Dermatology venereology leprosy) and has received the Dr A.S.Thambiamatologists world over. During this training, she gained experience in Ablative and fractional lasers, pigmented and vascular lasers, skin tightening devices, laser for hair removal, Botox and fillers. Soon after her postgraduation, she became a Consultant Dermatologist with Kaya skin clinic. Thereafter she went on to become the Consultant Dermatologist at Fortis Malar Hospital. She has been successfully running her chain of clinics in Kilpauk and Sowcarpet. Her areas of interest and expertise are Acne & Acne scar management, Pigmentation control, Antiageing, Hairfall management.
